Aurora, Ohio and the surrounding areas have everything you need. Just 36 minutes East of Cleveland and an hour from the Pennsylvania border, you are never far from sports, theater, good food or nature. Whether you live in Aurora, Cuyahoga Falls, Stow, Streetsboro, Hudson or any other town close by, the shopping, restaurants, and schools are plentiful.

With warm summers, somewhat cold winters, and beautiful fall colors, there is rarely a bad time to be outside and enjoying the outdoor activities Ohio has to offer. Famously known for Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which just happens to be 20 minutes from the plant, this park is consistently within the top 15 most visited parks in the United States. There you can enjoy hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, amazing waterfalls, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railway. Outside of the park, there are plenty of other opportunities for hiking, biking, golfing, or picnicking. One of our best-kept secrets is the Moebius Nature Center that offers more hiking, nature programs, and plenty of wildlife.

If you are a sports fan, there are plenty of teams to root for in Ohio and the fans are some of the most loyal and passionate. Be sure to catch an NFL game with the Cleveland Browns or Cincinnati Bengals, a day at the ballpark with either the Cleveland Guardians or the Cincinnati Reds, some fast-paced excitement at an NHL game with the Columbus Blue Jackets and their AHL affiliate, the Cleveland Monsters, or an evening of NBA action with the Cleveland Cavaliers. If you love the history of sports, look no further than Canton, OH and spend the day at the Professional Football Hall of Fame.

If you are interested in theatre or music, Cleveland is a great place to immerse yourself. The Rock and Roll hall of Fame holds some of the most iconic pieces of music history, and with new inductees every year, there is always something new to discover. You can also visit Playhouse Square, which is one of the largest performing arts centers outside of New York City. There the iconic chandelier welcomes you to attend one of their eleven performance spaces where you can see touring Broadway shows, concerts, comedy shows, dance and children’s programming. Also, visit the Cleveland Orchestra, which finds itself among the five major US symphony orchestras, informally known as the Big 5. If you are looking for a more local music experience, head to Cuyahoga Falls to the Blossom Music Center, which holds outdoor concerts with popular artists all summer long.

There is much more to offer throughout Cleveland and Ohio. You can visit the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, and the Natural History Museum, along with many more festivals and concerts at University Circle. Take a day trip to Amish Country, or have a thrilling day at Cedar Point amusement park.
