Sandwich is a historic town located in the east of Kent, approximately two miles from the coast. The town is famous for being one of the Cinque Ports and its rich history spanning back over 1000 years.

You can start your journey by walking down the quaint streets of the town. The roads are filled with beautifully maintained medieval buildings and cottages, all adorned with flowers in window boxes and hanging baskets. Some of the most notable buildings that you can come across include the Salutation Hotel, Ropewalk Museum, and St. Mary's Church.

The Salutation Hotel is a unique hotel with its own gardens which also house a variety of plants from around the world. The Ropewalk Museum is dedicated to the town's rope-making history and offers visitors the opportunity to learn more about this ancient craft.
